On Tuesday, travelers will depart for Mallorca.

The next day, travelers will arrive in Palma De Mallorca, situated on the South Coast of one of the largest islands in the Mediterranean Sea. Gate 1 Travel encourages you to spend the date at your leisure. At 7 PM, your tour will officially begin with an orientation meeting with your tour manager, then followed by a welcome reception. Gate 1 Travel recommends that travelers select flights that arrive no later than 5 PM, so this orientation isn’t missed.

This morning, travelers will embark on a panoramic walking tour of Palma De Mallorca, the capital of the Balearic Islands. The city’s name originates from the Roman camp named Palmaria in 123 BC on the remains of earlier settlements. First, see the La Seu Cathedral, a landmark that towers over the city on a hill overlooking the sea. Then, marvel in the Moorish fortress of La Almudaina Royal Palace and walk on the cobblestone streets of El Casco Antiguo, Palma’s medieval Old Town. Day 4

The next morning, you’ll leave Palma de Mallorca to drive to the charming fishing port town of Portocolom. In the early afternoon, head towards Algaida to visit the historic windmills including the beautifully preserved Molino d’en Xina. Continue to Gordiola and visit the famed glassblowing museum to witness artisans practicing this ancient craft. Day 6

Once again, depart Palma early in the morning and drive north to Inca. You’ll spend time discovering the historical commercial center of the island, known as the capital of leather goods. After visiting Inca, continue north to the Roman and medieval town of Alcudia. Tour the town and its impressive, well-preserved medieval city walls. And make sure to take advantage of the Alcudia Market with free time for shopping, sampling local goods, and soaking up the lively atmosphere. Finally, you’ll make your way to Pollenca, where you’ll have lunch on your own at one of the square-side cafes.

Day 7

Travelers can spend this day at leisure in Palama or join Gate 1 Travel’s optional Full Day Hams Caves & Manacor Tour.
